Advocacy: The Advocacy Committee is responsible for overseeing ESWA’s advocacy efforts, including overseeing existing advocacy efforts, and recommending new advocacy projects to the Board. Fund Development: The Fund Development Committee is responsible for identifying and applying for grants to support ESWA’s programs, development and implementation of a corporate fundraising plan, and oversight and growth of ESWA’s Endowment Fund. Membership: The Membership Committee is responsible for the maintenance of ESWA’s membership data base, recruitment and retention of members, collection of and acknowledgment of dues payments, management of swag, and the Annual Fall Celebration. Communications: The Communications Committee is responsible for the solicitation, editing and publication of educational columns in the Vail Daily and Summit Daily, updating and printing of ESWA’s brochures, preparation of ESWA newsletters, management and updating of the ESWA website and social media presence. Sawyer: The Sawyer Committee is responsible for operation, management and promotion of ESWA’s Sawyer Program, including the training, organization and management of ESWA sawyers. Chair: Zach Kauk. Members: Mike Browning, Martin Herre

Trails Committee: The Trails Committee is responsible for planning and running trail work days and weekend llama trips in each County each summer, the development and implementation of a long term strategic trail improvement plan for each County, and ESWA’s weed program.
