WARREN/OSTER MEMORIAL KIOSK
Several years in the making, the final product proves to be an inspiring work of art and craftsmanship. The Kiosk, named in memory of two lovers of Wildersness - Jake Oster and Rick Warren - is located outside the US Forest Service Office in Silverthorne. The front of the kiosk contains US Forest Service maps and information. Around behind is a tranquil picnic area, with table and plaques commemorating the lives of Rick and Jake.

BEAU SCHUETTE MEMORIAL BOARDWALK
Beau Schuette loved the Wilderness but died too soon, at 35, of an undiagnosed heart condition. His family and friends have sponsored a much-valued boardwalk across a marshy area on the popular Mesa Cortina trail in honor of Beau.
